About Our Team 

Established in the early 1950s by Jim and Pat Ramsay, NQ Game Meats has been the leading wholesale and retail game meat supplier in North Queensland for more than 70 years. Jim and Pat’s son, Edward Ramsay, took the reins in 1993 and implemented the construction of our own in-house boning room to ensure we can provide the freshest meat available. Our team also includes three professional meat inspectors–who ensure all our meats are fresh and fully certified. 

Based in Townsville, we’re proud to supply the very finest game meat to Australian households and businesses. We’re also passionate about our four-legged friends and offer quality meat, dry food and treats under our business, Superior Pet Foods. Just like our game meat for human consumption, Superior Pet Foods only supplies pet meat that is preservative free and contains no fillers.
